⚠️ Touch FPC pin order may vary by batch — always verify against the TP075-Y01 specification before wiring.

Select Interface Mode

Wire BS1 (Pin 8) to GND to select 4-wire SPI. This is the recommended mode for ESP32 and matches the sample code.

Connect EPD Power

Tie VDDIO (Pin 15) and VCI (Pin 16) to 3.3V, and VSS (Pin 17) to GND. Add 1µF decoupling capacitors to VDD and all VSH/VGH/VSL/VGL/VCOM pins.

Route SPI Signals

Connect SCL→18, SDA→23, CS→5, D/C→17, RES→16, BUSY→4. Keep the SPI wires short (<10cm).

Wire Touch I²C

Connect SDA→21, SCL→22, INT→35, RST→15, plus 3.3V and GND. Add 4.7kΩ pull-ups on SDA/SCL.

⚠️ Wiring & Debugging Tips

Do not bend or pull the flexible FPC cable — it is fragile and cannot be repaired once broken.
Touch not working? First re-seat the 6-pin FPC and ensure the gold fingers are fully in contact with the connector. Verify I²C address 0x5D (GT911 default) with an I²C scanner.
EPD not refreshing? Check that BUSY is low during refresh and that BS1 is firmly tied to GND. Verify the SPI mode (CPOL=0, CPHA=0) and 4-wire configuration.
Use in dry environments — moisture can cause panel malfunction. If condensation occurs, let the module dry at room temperature before powering on.
Power sequencing: Apply 3.3V to VCI/VDDIO before sending SPI commands. The GT911 and UC8179 share the same 3.3V rail.
